A Miami car enthusiast has found a unique place to store his rare Italian sports car. The owner of a $1.5million Pagani Zonda R decided his beloved toy was much too valuable to be kept on the street or tucked away in a garage, opting to hang it from the ceiling of his condo instead. Brazil-based design firm recently installed the vehicle inside the 4,200-sq-ft condominium in theritzy Miami suburb of Surfside for the owner who has asked to remain anonymous. The sleek black automobile acts as a divider betweenthe living room and master bedroom as well as the inspiration for the rest of the home's decorations. The owner of the four-bedroom home at the Fendi Chateau Residence had to obtain a special permit from the city before hanging the Pagani. One said he's seen other luxury vehicles such as Porsches and Ferraris hung as wall decoration, but that the Pagani installation is unique in that it can be viewed from all angles. The roof of the car faces the large living room and the undercarriage faces the bedroom. The anonymous owner has said the rare automobile one of only 15 ever produced deserves to be treated like artwork, according to Artefacto CEO Paulo Bacchi. The ocean front home is located on the fifth floor of the Fendi Chateau Residences in Surfside (pictured). The Pagani is designed to reach an impressive 218 miles per hour (stock image). The one installed in the Miami home had its engine removed to reduce the weight of the car, bringing it down to 800lbs
